Purvis led all scorers with 21 points (6-15 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and added seven rebounds, three assists, and a steal in the win over Syracuse on Monday.

His five made shots from behind the arc were a season high for the senior. While Purvis' usage rate has been up, his efficiency has gone down. The 6-4 guard is shooting just 36 percent from the field and 32 percent from three-point range, both of which are career-lows. Purvis has been forced to try and carry more of the load on a subpar UConn team as evidenced by his 35.5 minutes per game.
