Perrilloux signed to play for Jacksonville State (AL), reports USAToday.com. Perrilloux was kicked off the LSU team for repeated off field problems. He was expected to be the starting quarterback for the defending national champion Tigers.

LeSean McCoy (RB)  Pittsburgh
McCoy, the country's top freshman rusher last year (1,328 yards), was named to NationalChamps.net's Preseason All-America Team (third team) according to PittsburghPanthers.com.

Ben Mauk (QB)  Cincinnati
Mauk plans to appeal to the NCAA Student-Athlete Reinstatement Committee for reconsideration for a sixth year of eligibility, GoBEARCATS.com reports. His original request had been previously denied. According to head coach, Brian Kelly, "This next step in the NCAA process will give Ben his first opportunity to speak directly with the Student-Athlete Reinstatement Committee."

Matt Grothe (QB)  South Florida
Grothe was a perfect 5-for-5 passing in USF's annual Green and White game. Grothe completed a 47-yard pass to TE Andrew Ketchel on his first pass attempt and finished the game with 70 yards of passing yardage as reported on TheLedger.com.

Kordell Young (RB)  Rutgers
Young, the preseason favorite to take replace Ray Rice, missed the spring game while recovering from a knee injury.
