RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2016

There was no outlook written for Khalif Barnes.

2015

Entering his 11th season in the league, Barnes will be a utility lineman for the Raiders in 2015, adding depth and experience to a fairly young offensive line. He's capable of playing guard or tackle which should help him get on the field at some point if anyone goes down with an injury. The Raiders will do everything they can to protect their talented young quarterback, and Barnes could play a solid role in that.

2013

Barnes may lose his job as starting right tackle to Menelik Watson in 2013.

2012

Will open the season as the Raiders' starting right tackle.

2010

Barnes will start at right tackle.

2009

Barnes will be the Raiders' starting left tackle.

2008

Barnes will start at left tackle.

2007

After putting his offseason legal troubles behind him, Barnes will compete with Maurice Williams for the Jags' starting left tackle spot.

2006

Starting left tackle and probably the most promising player on the Jaguars offensive line. Barnes was drafted in the second round of the 2005 draft and immediately paid dividends for the Jaguars. He started the final 12 games of last season and didnít relinquish a sack for the first 11. Count on him to improve on last yearís strong performance and to provide steady protection for Byron Leftwich.

2005

The rookie tackle was once thought to be ready to come in and start on the offensive line, but that hasn't beem the case, instead he will be serving time as a backup for the forseeable future.
