Do you know your local sports team inside out? Do you consider yourself among the elite fantasy sports players among your peers?

RotoWire is seeking writers willing to contribute to the site by covering teams, writing columns or writing blogs.

Specifically we're currently looking for help for our college football, college basketball, golf and soccer coverage. Must have a good writing background, several years fantasy sports experience and ability to commit a small amount of time each day over the course of the full season. There is no compensation to start, but there are plenty of small perks to being associated with our group of writers and it's usually good for experience and a resume builder, or just to see your writing in some prominent places on the web.

Unfortunately we don't have any openings for the four major sports right now, but if you're experienced and interested in NFL, NHL or NBA, circle back with us about six weeks prior to the start of the season. Please do not e-mail us at this time. We are, however, looking for individuals to help build our forums and often look there to find new talent. Please e-mail us if you have any questions as to how you can contribute to our forums.

Our staffing needs change on a seasonal basis, so check back regularly for openings if you're looking for an MLB, NFL, NHL or NBA assignment.

We are actively recruiting for an assertive, self starter who is able to handle multiple tasks to fill the position of Advertising Sales Director in our Madison, WI location. If you have experience selling advertising online or offline and want to work for a sports media company, this could be a perfect fit for you.

Primary Responsibilities

Prospecting, qualifying, negotiating and closing national advertisers and agencies.
Establishing and meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Help with marketing/business development opportunities.

Job Qualifications

Minimum 2 years experience in face-to-face media sales preferred.
Interest, knowledge and affinity for the Internet is a must.
Online sales experience with existing relationships a plus.
Enthusiasm for sports is a must and knowledge of fantasy sports games is a major plus.
Entrepreneurial spirit with a high energy level.
Experience in creating high concept sponsorships for large clients.
Four-year college degree required.
